Mark was one of the founders of Preqin in 2003, and is responsible for the company's strategic development. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, and is also a point of contact for other companies and organisations wishing to form strategic partnerships with Preqin. Mark was previously a Manager with Boston Consulting Group, and founded Citywatch, the equity shareholdings information service that is now part of Thomson Reuters.
Amy is responsible for all of Preqin's hedge fund products and solutions. This involves defining Preqin’s strategic direction in the hedge fund industry, both through innovations to our award winning products as well as through our research and communications strategy in this space.
Chris is responsible for the strategic development and operations of the Solutions products - Preqin’s private capital portfolio management software. Chris joined the Preqin team having consulted on the initial investment in the business in January 2015, and moved over to the Solutions division full time in November 2016 following the final acquisition, having served as a non-executive director for two years. Prior to joining Preqin, Chris worked for the Lereko Metier Sustainable Capital Fund, a private equity fund focused on sustainable investments in sub-Saharan Africa. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants having completed his articles at Ernst & Young in Johannesburg.
Based in New York, Tim heads up Preqin's US team and is responsible for overseeing the firm's stateside operations. He also oversees the commercial development of Preqin's offerings, including product strategy, positioning and industry partnerships.
Ed manages Preqin’s global sales and client services team with the aim to deliver a world-class customer experience. He holds a wealth of experience in information, data and analytics sales across EMEA, Asia and the Americas. Prior to joining Preqin, he worked for Platts, the energy and commodity information division of McGraw Hill Financial, where he held the positions of Head of EMEA Mid-Market Sales and Global Head of Petrochemical and Agriculture Sales.
Helen heads up Preqin’s Marketing and Communications department and is responsible for overseeing the company’s branding and external communications. This includes the production and dissemination of Preqin’s extensive calendar of research publications; marketing Preqin’s products and services to clients and prospects around the world; partnering with trade conferences and events; and highlighting Preqin’s research in the global financial press.
Ryan is responsible for the internal and external financial reporting, compliance and control across the group. Prior to joining Preqin, Ryan worked at a top 10 accountancy firm in audit and assurance. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Elias oversees the strategic development of Preqin’s data activities and manages the company’s global research team. Prior to joining Preqin, Elias was Global Head of Research at Mergermarket with a focus on data and research in the mergers & acquisitions space, and also worked within Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division.
Etienne is responsible for all of the technical aspects of Preqin's data, including our sources, processes and quality metrics. Etienne first joined Preqin as a Research Analyst in 2003 and progressed internally to his current position, gaining first-hand experience with all aspects of data sourcing and research management.
Lynn is Head of HR for Preqin and is responsible for recruiting and developing a highly skilled and motivated team across all of our regional offices. Lynn also acts as Company Secretary for the Group. Before joining Preqin, Lynn set up and managed the HR function in a number of companies in the software and information industries, including acting as part of the management team for Strategic Thought Group, now Active Risk, growing the company to list on AIM. Prior to this, Lynn worked in Defence, analyzing weapons systems and in naval intelligence.
Darren is responsible for leading our technology strategy at Preqin. Darren joined the organisation in January 2017 and brings with him extensive experience in product strategy, cloud technology, agile development, machine learning and offshore development. Before joining Preqin Darren was CTO at Basis Technologies where he led the creation of a DevOps toolset for SAP that is used by some of world's largest organisations to manage change across vast SAP estates. Prior to this Darren was CTO at Active Risk, a global Enterprise Risk Management software vendor delivering both on premise and cloud based software solutions.
